Q: How does the Advent Calendar come?
A: It comes in an eBook format so you’ll have access to the entire month of activities as soon as you place your order! Please note that you will receive a link to download the eBook within 24 hours, so be sure to download it right away!
Q: What do the workouts entail?
A: The workouts revolve around the foundational movement patterns (squat, hinge, press, pull, lunge) and they are tailored to building strength and general fitness. I want this to be accessible, so if you need modifications - don’t hesitate to reach out to alena@training2xl.com.
Q: Do I lose access to the eBook after December?
A: Nope, it’s yours for life! Some individuals in the past have repeated the program beyond December, which I encourage! Think of it as the gift that keeps on giving :)
Q: What equipment do I need for the workouts?
A: Ideally, 1 set of dumbbells or kettlebells, a mat, an elevation (step, chair, bench), and if you have any resistance bands you can totally make use of them! Remember that you can use household items like water bottles, laundry detergent containers, a backpack packed with books, etc. for resistance!
Q: I got the Advent Calendar last year, is it the same each year?
A: No, absolutely not because I know (and appreciate!!!) that so many of you want to join me each December, that I always create new content each year for that exact reason. Lots of similar themes, but that’s because I want to stay consistent with the T2XL values and foundational principles! Also, I’d like to note that every word written is from me with love (no AI was utilized in the making of this resource!).
Q: Do I lose access to the eBook after December?
A: Nope! You have it forever, so as long as you save it to your device, it’s yours to keep! I would encourage you to save it to your computer as a PDF as soon as you get the link to download (I like saving mine to Books on my iPhone!).
Q: I’m not so good with tech, can I print out the eBook?
A: Yes you can! I do suggest you keep the PDF version saved to your computer or phone so you can get access to the links attached, but you can totally print it out - I love seeing when people do!
Q: What if I have a question throughout the month?
A: You are ALWAYS welcome to email me with specific questions, and there is also a Whatsapp Team Chat for everyone who joins to be able to ask questions, seek support and accountability, and share resources (don’t worry, I won’t be bombarding you with messages).
Q: Is this a good resource for beginners?
A: Yes absolutely. I actually think this is a great starting place as the program is very foundational in nature (and there’s visual demonstrations of every exercise). All the resources are very reflective of the T2XL philosophy of doing the simple things, doing them well, and doing them often. I’m also here to help you navigate the resource, so I can always point you in the direction of what to focus on initially!
Q: Is this something I can refer back to after the holidays?
A: YES - I would hope that you do! All the workouts, recipes and strategies are things I utilize year round.
